You were so excited! Now we are ready! Now I am ready! I can’t wait to start our family! I have been imagining what it will feel like to be pregnant. What would that feel like? How will I feel? The change is so big but is exciting! What would it feel like to hold my newborn baby in my arms!
I see so many photos on Facebook and social media. It looks so magical and fun!
And yet, another month, negative pregnancy test.
Heart sinking.
It feels like it is taking longer than I thought. All of the experts say that if you have not be able to get pregnant in under a year, under 35 years old that I am infertile?
Am I? What am I missing?
IVF may be a great option! But wait, the likelihood of success is 28% (1)? That doesn’t seem very high with the amount of money that is needed.
It is SO expensive! Why is the success rate so low?
I don’t want all of the hormones and tests that are required to do IVF. That sounds awful!
Is that my ONLY option??
NOPE!
There are other options. I am a practicing Naturopathic Doctor that has been treating fertility since 2006, successfully. Most of the patients in my clinic do NOT need to go the IVF route. They needed simple cycle and hormonal balancing and mental/emotional and energetic support.
Pregnancy is not just about science! If that were the case, IVF would be successful almost every time. If a woman’s body is not ready to carry a pregnancy-it won’t. My experience has shown if there are some mental and emotional blocks, or fear about carrying a baby, being pregnant etc. She will have trouble conceiving.
It is a more complex and dare I say ‘magical’ topic than is generally addressed.
Preconception is little spoken of but is something that needs to come to the forefront in regards to fertility.
One in 6 couples are now having trouble conceiving (1).
Environmental toxins, lacking nutrients in our soils, advanced age and increasing amount of stress- all play a HUGE role in the health of a woman’s eggs.
One of the most common reasons for early miscarriage is chromosomal abnormality. The only way to address this is to increase both the health of the mother and the father, months before trying to conceive.
If you are wanting to plan a pregnancy, putting together a pre-conception plan is so important for a positive pregnancy outcome AND a healthy baby!
That is why my Angel Fertility program covers both the science of pre-conception, mental/emotional AND the energetic aspects to conception!
I have an online portion that goes over the science of what is happening inside your body, which plays an important role. In clinic, I add in a key component to the program which I call ‘womb energetics.” Teaching women the energetics behind conception!
Did you know that energetics play a HUGE role in being able to become pregnant? Many women that I work with are expressing more Yang, than Yin energy. Why does that matter? And what does that mean?
When a woman is expressing more ‘accomplishment’ or ‘doing, doing, doing’ type of energy! Instead of a Yin expression of energy. This is the ‘receiving’ and ‘nurturing’ energy. This is why many of my Type A personality patients are struggle. The energetics need to be balanced! What I have termed ‘womb energetics’ are essential to work with for successful pregnancies!
Fertility is a multifaceted, complex dance these days. I serve to intuitively and scientifically examine what YOU need and GUIDE you to success!
We need to combine the pre-conception preparation, science and energetics in fertility!
This also allows me to join you in your journey to motherhood, all the ups and down- I am there the whole way! It can be a challenging one for some, but I am here for you!
IVF may be the route to you starting your family, but it may not be. It could be some simple changes that is needed to prepare your body to conceive and to carry a healthy baby, full term. Remember IVF is always an option, but why not try the one that is simpler, natural and aligned with what your body knows what to do, first.
